The Velvet Chair Experience with J.Aeria: A Little Sultry, A Little Churchy

We kicked off the summer with another great collaboration with Brain Flower Studios for The Velvet Chair Experience. Our headliner was none other than THE J.Aeria. She gave us her own spin on some oldies but goodies like On & On by Erykah Badu and sweet songs like Cruisin' by Micki Miller and Cherish the Day by Sade, later performed by Lalah Hathaway and Robert Glasper. She didn't disappoint by adding a couple gospel-influenced runs as well.

Our hosts, Janel of Strong & Company and Big Mike, danced the night away during the giveaway rounds of Lyrically Correct. Friends, you HAD to be there.
